The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, available in 24, 48, 96, or 384 formats to accommodate virtually every research lab. These plates are designed for bacterial cultures, centrifugation with a maximum relative centrifugal force (rcf) of 4000xg, and general sample storage. They are compatible with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, the plates comply with ANSI / SLAS 1-2004 standards. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, some are sterilized by gamma irradiation, and all are certified non-pyrogenic and free of RNase and DNase. Key features include minimal binding and liquid retention, black printed alpha-numerics for easy identification, V-shaped conical bottoms for sample containment, and construction from virgin medical-grade polypropylene. The product is supplied sterile and available in over 30 plate configurations.
