SureFrame™ plates are manufactured using a special two-material process that combines an ultra-rigid polycarbonate frame with polypropylene tube wells, preserving favorable thermal transfer characteristics. This design ensures the plate is compatible with all automated platforms and plate grippers while enhancing experimental uniformity by eliminating warping commonly seen in traditional one-material plates inside thermal cyclers. The polycarbonate frame prevents evaporation in the outer wells, resulting in completely uniform amplification across all wells. The plates are certified for PCR use, feature a fully skirted polycarbonate frame, and have a low-profile design.
