This sewage float switch and septic float provide reliable measurement and control of wastewater levels for both empty and fill applications. The kit includes a 16-foot cord and a self-orienting, non-tethered design to accommodate an array of needs, making it ideal for medium to heavy amounts of suspended solids in sewage and septic applications. The SludgeBoss float switch is controlled by a Honeywell micro switch and is rated for use with 12-24 VDC and 120-240 VAC. It can directly control motors of up to 1 horsepower (or 13 amps) at 120- or 220-volts AC for non-continuous pump operations, and up to 13 amps for 12 V DC motor loads. The float features a corrosion-resistant polypropylene casing and operates within a temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It holds CE and IEC approvals and comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
