This sewage float switch and septic float provide reliable measurement and control of wastewater levels for both empty and fill applications. It features a 16-foot cord and a self-orienting, non-tethered design to accommodate various needs, making it suitable for medium to heavy amounts of suspended solids in sewage and septic applications. The SludgeBoss float switch is operated by a Honeywell micro switch and is rated for use with 12-24 VDC and 120-240 VAC. It can directly control motors of up to 1/2 horsepower (or 13 amps) at 120- or 220-volts AC for non-continuous pump operations, and up to 13 amps for 12 V DC motor loads. The switch has a corrosion-resistant polypropylene casing and is temperature resistant from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It holds CE and IEC approvals and is designed specifically for managing sewage liquids and solids. The package includes the float switch with its 16-foot cord, and it comes with a five-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
