The sump pump discharge pipe clamp-on float switch includes a mounting bracket and a 15 ft. wire, designed for use on pipes ranging from 1" to 4" in diameter. It attaches to the discharge pipe of a sump pump to provide a high level alarm and is compatible with Level Sense and most household security alarm systems. The switch is rated exclusively for DC applications, not AC, with a maximum rating of 1.5 amps and 1 watt. It can be easily converted from normally open to normally closed by inverting the float.
