This sewage float switch and septic float provide reliable measurement and control of wastewater levels for both empty and fill applications. It features a 33-foot cord and a self-orienting, non-tethered design to accommodate various needs, making it suitable for medium to heavy amounts of suspended solids in sewage and septic applications. The SludgeBoss float switch is controlled by a Honeywell micro switch and is rated for use with 12-24 VDC and 120-240 VAC. It can directly control motors up to 1 horsepower (or 13 amps) at 120- or 220-volts AC for non-continuous pump operations and up to 13 amps for 12V DC motor loads. The float switch is housed in a corrosion-resistant polypropylene casing and can operate in temperatures ranging from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It holds CE and IEC approvals and comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
