The sump alarm counterweight is designed to tie to the float switch cable using the included button head cable tie, providing proper orientation of the float switch as the water level rises or falls. This cable weight is not intended for submerging the float switch. It requires only 3 to 5 inches of space between the float switch and the pump. Each weight has a mass of 6 ounces. The package includes a 10 pack of these counterweights.
