This kit includes a cutter designed specifically for five gallon plastic and steel pails, featuring a unique design that opens and closes both types of pails. The cutter is used to cut a slit in the lid lip of the plastic pail to allow easy removal of the lid, with a side guide that slides under the lid lip for convenience. For steel pails, the end hook is used to open the lid by hooking the lid lip and rotating, while the opposite end is used to close and seal the lid by bending the lip back around the steel pail top. The tool is constructed of cast steel for long-lasting durability and includes a molded blue rubber grip handle to provide user comfort. It also features a built-in cutting tool for opening sealed lids on plastic pails. This product is not suitable for use with UN rated pails.
