The pail opening tool is designed to provide the additional torque required to open unrated pails by hand, featuring a side guide that slides under the lid lip for easy lid removal and an end hook specifically for opening steel pails by hooking the lid lug and prying open. The opposite end is used to close and seal the lid by bending the lug back around the steel pail lip.
