The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ slip resistant tape Series 600 is designed for light to heavy shoe traffic areas and features a mineral-coated, high friction slip-resistant surface that is highly durable to withstand the rigors of equipment traffic. It has a low-profile design to help reduce trip hazards and includes a high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive for easy application. The tape incorporates proprietary 3M™ Controltac™ film technology with posts that allow the traction material to be repositioned on the surface before final adhesion, minimizing rework, as well as 3M™ Comply™ adhesive technology providing air release channels in the liner for a bubble-free application and smooth adhesion. This slip-resistant material is suitable primarily for use on dry, wet, and oily floors in industrial and commercial settings with intensive pedestrian or light vehicle traffic, including corridors, production and storage rooms, ramps, stairways, ladders, footplates on machines, and emergency exits. The Series 600 tape has been certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction," with a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) greater than 0.60, meeting the criteria established by NFSI to reduce slip-and-fall incidents by 50% to 90%.
