Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for nearly one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a maple butcher block top treated with oil for industrial assembly applications and a strong cold rolled steel base with 5" polyurethane casters. The assembly is quick and supports a capacity of 1,200 lb. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
