Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year to prevent warpage and splitting before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and others double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a strong cold rolled steel frame with a 1,200 lb. capacity and 5" polyurethane casters, allowing for easy mobility. The product features quick assembly, and the maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil suitable for industrial assembly applications. It comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
