Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and some double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The top is generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product features 12" height adjustability on 2" increments and can be assembled in less than one minute. It comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
