Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a maple butcher block top treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. Assembly can be completed in less than one minute, and the unit features 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The butcher block comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
