Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before cutting into strips and gluing edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and some double wide, adding strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The unit assembles in less than one minute and features 12" height adjustability on 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications and come with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
