Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and others double wide, which adds strength and reduces the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a butcherblock top supported by a strong cold rolled steel frame with a 1,200 lb. capacity and equipped with 5 inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The maple butcherblock tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product features quick assembly and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
