Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The kit includes the solid maple butcher block top with pre-assembled construction, ready to be incorporated into various workspaces. Dimensions and specific specifications align with standard industrial requirements. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty, and assembly can be completed in less than one minute.
