Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro® is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and some double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a butcher block top treated with oil for industrial assembly applications, supported by a strong cold rolled steel frame with a 1,200 lb. capacity and equipped with 5-inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The unit offers quick assembly and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
