Preferred for its hard surface, beauty and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width with some single and some double wide strips, adding strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a butcherblock top with the ability to adjust height by 12" in 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
