Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single wide and others double wide, adding strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes maple butcher block tops treated with oil suitable for industrial assembly applications, supported by a strong cold rolled steel frame with a 1,200 lb. capacity and equipped with 5-inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The product features quick assembly and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
