Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a 1,200 lb. capacity frame made from strong cold rolled steel with 5-inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The package features quick assembly and maple butcher block tops that are generally treated with oil suitable for industrial assembly applications. The product is backed by a 25-year unconditional warranty.
