Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, which adds strength and reduces the possibility of the top splitting along its seams. The kit includes a strong cold rolled steel frame with a 1,200 lb. capacity and 5-inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product offers quick assembly and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
