Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 inch thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some single and some double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes a maple butcher block top treated with oil for industrial assembly applications and a strong cold rolled steel base with a 1,200 lb. capacity supported by 5-inch polyurethane casters for mobility. The unit features quick assembly and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
