Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of the top splitting along its seams. The unit can be assembled in less than one minute and offers 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
