Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year to prevent warpage and splitting before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single wide and others double wide, giving the tops added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along the seams. The kit assembles in less than one minute and includes height adjustability of 12" in 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
