Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single wide and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes maple butcher block tops treated with oil for industrial assembly applications, assembly can be completed in less than one minute, and the height is adjustable over a 12" range in 2" increments. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
