Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, which adds strength and reduces the possibility of splitting along seams. The product can be assembled in less than one minute and features 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The complete package includes the butcherblock top and adjustable base, and the product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
