Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some single and some double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The package includes a butcher block top that assembles in less than one minute and features 12" height adjustability on 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
