Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single wide and others double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The assembly can be completed in less than one minute and includes 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The maple butcher block tops are treated with oil for industrial assembly applications and come with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
