Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and some double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The assembly process takes less than one minute, and the height is adjustable by 12" in 2" increments. These maple butcher block tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications and come with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
