Preferred for its hard surface, beauty and durability, the solid maple butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips being single and others double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along the seams. The butcher block top is designed for assembly in less than one minute and features 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The maple butcherblock tops are generally treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. The product comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
