Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. The wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge to prevent warpage and splitting. The hardwood strips vary in width so that some strips are single and some are double wide, providing added strength and reducing the possibility of splitting along seams. The kit includes maple butcher block tops treated with oil, suited for industrial assembly applications, and features 12" height adjustability on 2" increments. The product can be assembled in less than one minute and comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
