Preferred for its hard surface, beauty, and durability, the solid maple butcher block used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4" thick strips of genuine maple hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, with some strips single and others double wide, providing added strength while reducing the possibility of splitting along the seams. The kit includes maple butcher block tops treated with oil for industrial assembly applications. Assembly takes less than one minute, and the product offers 12" height adjustability in 2" increments. The butcher block comes with a 25-year unconditional warranty.
