This product features a progressive density formula that reduces shrinkage and cracking during drying, ensuring a durable and high-quality finish. It complies with ASTM C475 standards for gypsum plaster and joint compound and is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions. The joint compound has a working time of 20 to 30 minutes and a drying time of approximately 24 hours, depending on environmental conditions. The dry mix weighs 20 lb (9.07 kg) and, when mixed, yields approximately 48 fluid ounces at a 6:1 water-to-powder ratio. This product is suitable for use with drywall and plaster surfaces and can be applied with a drywall knife or trowel. It is non-flammable, contains no asbestos, and meets all federal and state VOC regulations. Dimensions of the bag are 14 in x 10 in x 3 in. The product comes with a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and is recommended for use in temperatures between 50°F and 90°F with a relative humidity of 40% to 70%.
