It features the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor delivering up to 1,200 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1,600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque when used with M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ batteries. The tool includes a patented battery isolation system for a secure battery connection and vibration control, tri-LEDs surrounding the anvil for brighter light with fewer shadows, and 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ to provide precision with selectable preset RPM and IPM levels from a single button. Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF™, limits torque to no more than 50 ft-lbs for hand-tight fastening and features bolt removal control that delivers full torque then reduces RPMs to prevent fastener drops. The friction ring design allows for quick, tool-free socket changes.
