The 3M™ DBI-Sala® Nano-Lok™ Connected Order Picker self-retracting lifeline is an advanced fall protection system designed for order picking vehicles, featuring a quick-locking mechanism that stops falls within inches to provide enhanced protection at low heights. Built on the Nano-Lok™ platform, these lightweight, rugged lifelines include stainless steel components, an anti-ratcheting brake system, and a semi-sealed design for durability. The lifeline extends and retracts automatically, allowing users to move freely within a recommended working area at normal speeds, while a speed-sensing brake activates upon a fall to stop it and reduce forces on the user, offering significant safety improvements over traditional lanyards. This SRL pairs with the 3M™ DBI-Sala® Connected Order Picker Alert, Interlock, and wireless systems, utilizing a sensing aluminum carabiner with a plastic cover that detects if it is connected to the worker’s harness dorsal D-ring and if the carabiner gate is closed and locked. It is compatible with all current 3M™ harnesses and most metallic OSHA-rated harness dorsal D-rings. The device features a quick-activating speed-sensing brake, a high-capacity energy absorber, and Dyneema® abrasion-resistant webbing, with swivels at both ends to allow freedom of movement and prevent web twist and wear. A sleek nitrile rubber shock pack cover extends durability, lasting four times longer than previous models, and a built-in RFID tag facilitates inspection and inventory tracking. It requires a 4 ft. overhead fall clearance in accordance with OSHA 1910 General Industry standards. The system comes with a standard manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
