The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Nano-Lok™ Connected Order Picker Alert System is a fall protection system designed to detect a worker's presence on an order picking vehicle, verify their tie-off status, and provide real-time visual and audible alerts to enhance situational awareness and safety. The system includes a 3M™ DBI-SALA® Nano-Lok™ connected carabiner self-retracting lifeline, an alert sensor box, a carabiner, light strips, and an alert sensor box power cable. The connected self-retracting lifelines feature stainless steel components, an anti-ratcheting brake system, and a semi-sealed design for durability. The lifeline extends and retracts automatically to allow movement within a recommended working area at normal speeds, and a speed sensing brake system activates during a fall to stop the fall and reduce forces on the user, offering improvements over traditional lanyards. The sensing carabiner confirms a secure connection to the worker’s harness D-ring, operates with a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery without requiring power for basic SRL mechanical functions, and includes LED lights that provide low battery indicators and real-time verification of the carabiner gate’s closure and locking status. The LED lights are visible at a distance, turning red when a worker is not tied off and green when securely attached. The sensor box and feedback lights are powered by the order picker truck. OEM dealer technician installation is recommended but not required. Warranty terms apply.
