The GearWrench® 80966 mechanics tool set is a 243 piece 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. drive kit designed for professional use to increase productivity, access, and strength, made from premium alloy steel with a full polish chrome finish. It includes full polish chrome SAE and metric 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" standard sockets, 1/4" and 3/8" deep sockets, and 6 point sockets and combination wrenches in both SAE and metric sizes. The 90-tooth ratchets in 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. drives deliver a 4° swing arc to allow turning fasteners in tight spaces, and the combination wrenches have a 15° offset box end for added knuckle clearance. Sockets and wrenches feature an off-corner loading design to reduce fastener rounding, and the set includes universal joints for accessing hard-to-reach fasteners, a magnetic bit driver with 30 bits including Torx®, hex, slotted, and Phillips® types, as well as extension bars with chamfered female ends for smooth engagement. The entire set is organized in a durable 3-drawer blow mold storage box with independent sliding drawers, locking side flaps, a steel hinged lid, and a sturdy handle.
