The GearWrench® 80972 is a 243-piece mechanics tool set designed for professional users to enhance productivity, access, and strength, featuring 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. drives with 12-point sockets in both SAE and metric sizes. The set includes 90-tooth ratchets in 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. drives, standard and deep sockets, 12-point full polish long pattern combination wrenches with a 15° offset box end for added knuckle clearance, universal joints, and a magnetic bit driver with 30 bits including Torx®, hex, slotted, and Phillips®. The sockets and wrenches have an off-corner loading design to reduce fastener rounding, and the extension bars feature a chamfered female end with angled entry for smooth, quick attachment to drive tools. All tools are made from premium alloy steel with a full polish chrome finish, and the set is packaged in a durable 3-drawer blow mold storage box with independent sliding drawers, locking side flaps, a steel hinged lid, and a durable handle.
