The Prodigy Plus® ice maker is a nugget style Original Chewable Ice® machine featuring remote cooling and a production capacity of up to 1044 lb/24 hours at 70°/50° (781 lb AHRI certified at 90°/70°). It includes sealed, maintenance-free bearings for reduced preventative maintenance, a stainless steel evaporator and auger for maximum durability, and AutoAlert™ indicating lights for improved visibility. The unit has an operational footprint among the industry’s smallest, a unit-specific QR code providing quick access to service manuals, cleaning guides, and warranty history, and a front-breathing design requiring no side clearance for flexible placement. The machine uses R-404A refrigerant, operates at 115V/60/1-ph drawing 17.4 amps, and features AgION™ antimicrobial protection guarding internal surfaces between cleanings. It is NSF and cULus certified, engineered and assembled in the USA, and the sealed refrigeration system minimizes outside airborne contamination. Additional options include the SmartBoard™ advanced feature module for enhanced diagnostic capabilities and the VariSmart™ ice level control to customize ice levels. This model is inherently more energy and water efficient than cube machines and offers one-touch cleaning with a stainless steel finish.
