The 3M™ Speedglas™ welding helmet, G5-03 Pro Air is designed for the versatile welder, featuring customizable airflow, a range of head covers, neck protectors, and shrouds, with an optional task light for improved visibility of the work piece. The G5-03 Pro Air includes auto-darkening filters (ADFs) with natural color technology; the G5VC ADF offers variable color technology to view the weld in warm, cool, or natural color tones depending on application, lighting, and materials, while the G5TW ADF features a tack welding mode with an intermediate shade 5 light state to reduce eye strain during tack welding, reverting to shade 2.5 if no arc is struck within 2 seconds. The 3M™ Supplied Air Respirator Vortex Cooling Assembly V-100 delivers breathable air cooled up to 50°F (28°C) into the helmet. The kit also includes a premium holder (V-112), a high durability belt (TR-326), and a G5 series storage/carry bag. The helmet has a robust, compact design with ergonomic, adjustable head suspension and functionality for grind and cut modes when using G5 auto-darkening filters. The ADF is sold separately.
