3M™ Comply™ adhesive technology provides air release channels in the liner that enable a bubble-free application, ensuring smooth adhesion to surfaces. The channel pattern is replicated on the Safety-Walk™ adhesive, allowing air to be released to the edge of the traction material when pressure is applied. This product is ideal for use on diamond grade safety plates, steps, ladder rungs, heavy equipment, and vehicles, especially on irregular surfaces. It features a mineral-coated, high-friction, slip-resistant surface with an aluminum foil backing that conforms to corners, curves, and uneven surfaces such as diamond plating, riveted plates, and ladder rungs. The aggressive, high-performance adhesive forms an excellent, secure bond and the tapes and treads resist wrinkling, curling, tearing, shrinking, and lifting. 3M™ Safety-Walk™ slip-resistant tapes and treads Series 500 have been certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high traction," with a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) greater than 0.60, a level proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by 50% to 90%. The product is available in custom sizes and with custom adhesives to suit various applications such as stairs, ladders, loading ramps, and platforms.
