The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ slip resistant tapes and treads Series 600 feature 3M™ Controltac™ film technology with repositionable traction material posts that allow adjustment before final adhesion, reducing installation time and rework, and 3M™ Comply™ adhesive technology with air release channels in the liner to enable bubble-free application and smooth adhesion. The mineral-coated, slip-resistant material has a highly durable surface with a low profile design that helps reduce trip hazards. Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction," the product meets the wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) greater than 0.60 standard, which corresponds to proven reductions in slip-and-fall claims by 50% to 90%. Designed for light to heavy shoe traffic areas, it withstands equipment traffic and is suited for flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles.
