The kit includes a gray 100% UV protected 4mm acrylic panel that allows light to pass through while filtering UV rays to prevent door fading and peeling. It incorporates a smart and fast locking system for easy setup without requiring special tools. An integrated front gutter directs rainwater off to the sides, helping to keep the home entrance dry and protected in all seasons. For mounting the awning on lap siding or anchoring to wall studs, an Aquila™ 1500 siding kit (sold separately) is recommended to ensure proper installation.
