The Lyon 8000 Series closed steel shelving add-on unit instantly creates more vertical storage space with a closed back and sides, suitable for use against a wall or back-to-back in rows. This unit features one upright assembly consisting of two T-post uprights made from durable hot-rolled 16-gauge steel and a spot welded 24-gauge steel side panel, with a 24-gauge steel back panel that prevents lateral sway, providing support and stability. It includes five adjustable steel shelves available in 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and lightweight items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier items like toolboxes and large parts. The shelves feature a patented box design that adds strength to the front and rear, along with lapped and welded corners for enhanced durability. Four shelf clips per shelf allow easy adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. The industrial closed shelving unit is finished with a durable powder coat in Dove Gray to protect against everyday use and is ideal for warehouse or commercial storage applications.
