The Lyon® 2000 Series closed steel shelving angle post starter unit instantly creates more vertical storage space and is suitable for steel shelving either against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. This 5-shelf metal shelving unit is designed for economical, general-purpose storage, accommodating light parts, aerosols, as well as heavier items such as tools or safety supplies. The tall closed shelving unit is suitable for warehouse or commercial use and features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray to protect the steel from everyday use. Each starter unit includes two angle post end upright assemblies, with each assembly consisting of two angle post uprights formed from 14-gauge steel with a spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panel. The 24-gauge steel back panel prevents lateral sway, providing support and stability. The unit includes five 20-gauge heavy-duty adjustable steel shelves designed to store heavier items like toolboxes and large parts. The patented box design adds strength to both the front and rear of the shelves, and lapped and welded corners enhance durability. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that allow easy, tool-free adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers by setting the clips at the desired height.
