The Lyon® 8000 series closed steel shelving add-on unit instantly creates more vertical storage space with a closed back and sides, suitable for use against a wall or back-to-back for rows of shelving. This unit includes one upright assembly, comprising two T-post uprights made of hot-rolled 16-gauge steel with a spot welded 24-gauge steel side panel and a 24-gauge steel back panel to prevent lateral sway, providing support and stability. It features five adjustable steel shelves available in 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and lightweight items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, or 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier items such as toolboxes and large parts. The shelves have a patented box design with lapped and welded corners for added front and rear strength and durability. Each shelf includes four shelf clips that install without tools, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers for easy custom shelf spacing. The shelving unit is finished with a durable dove gray powder coat paint to protect the steel from everyday use. Warranty terms apply.
