The 8000 Series steel box shelves expand your storage options for existing industrial steel shelving and are designed for static storage of heavy, evenly distributed loads. These shelves are suitable for storing items such as tools, drills, aerosols, or safety supplies and are compatible with both open and closed 8000 Series shelving. The industrial steel shelving features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, which protects the adjustable metal storage shelves from everyday use. The shelves are available in 22-gauge medium-duty for small parts and lightweight items, 20-gauge heavy-duty, and 18-gauge extra heavy-duty for heavier items like tool boxes and large parts. The patented box design enhances strength at the front and rear of the shelf, with lapped and welded corners adding extra durability. Each shelf includes two rows of pre-punched holes spaced 1 inch apart and comes with four shelf clips that install without tools, allowing easy adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Accessories such as steel shelf dividers can be added for organization, attaching securely above and below the shelves, and label holders can be affixed to the front to assist with inventory control.
