The Lyon 2000 Series closed steel shelving beaded post add-on unit is designed to instantly create more vertical storage space and is suitable for steel shelving positioned either against a wall or back-to-back in rows. This add-on unit features closed shelving uprights and a back panel consisting of one beaded post intermediate upright assembly, which includes one front beaded post upright and two rear angle post uprights with a spot-welded 24-gauge steel side panel for easy and fast assembly. The post uprights are roll-formed from 14-gauge steel for extra strength, while the 24-gauge steel back panel helps prevent lateral sway, providing necessary support and stability. The shelving unit includes five adjustable 20-gauge heavy-duty shelves, suitable for storing heavier items such as toolboxes and large parts, with a patented box design for added strength in the front and rear, and lapped, welded corners for extra durability. Each shelf includes four clips to set at the desired height, and the entire shelving unit features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray to protect against everyday use.
