The Lyon® 2000 Series Closed Steel Shelving Beaded Post Starter Unit instantly creates more vertical storage space and is suitable for steel shelving placed either against a wall or back-to-back for row configurations. This 5-shelf metal shelving unit is designed for economical, general purpose storage and accommodates light parts, aerosols, as well as heavier items such as tools and safety supplies, making it ideal for warehouse or commercial use. The unit features closed shelving uprights and a back panel, with each starter including two beaded post end upright assemblies comprised of one front beaded post upright and one rear angle post upright with a spot welded 24-gauge steel side panel. These components allow for fast and easy assembly while the front beaded posts provide clear shelf access. The uprights are roll-formed from 14-gauge steel for added strength, and the 24-gauge steel back panel prevents lateral sway, contributing to the overall stability. The steel shelves are 20-gauge heavy-duty, patented box design with lapped and welded corners for extra strength and durability, suitable for heavier items such as toolboxes and large parts. Each shelf includes four shelf clips that allow adjustable shelf height. The shelving unit has a durable powder coat finish available in Dove Gray, which helps protect the steel from everyday use.
